seek.ninja is designed for people who want to search the web without being profiled. We run an intentionally minimal logging stack and keep everything anonymous.
The service is operated by https://searcha.co, based in California, USA. For privacy questions write to chief@searcha.co.
Every web request carries a small amount of technical information (network address, browser type, date/time). Our edge servers retain a rolling 30-day log to detect abuse and compile anonymous usage statistics; after that the data is irretrievably discarded. We never attempt to link these entries to a real-world identity.
Your adult-content filter, preferred location, and other tweaks live in your
browser’s localStorage
. They never leave your device.
Clearing site data or using an incognito window resets them.
We embed very light telemetry (page-load and error events) keyed by a random “install-id” that changes every 24 hours and is never written to disk. Telemetry helps us fix bugs; it is not shared or sold.
We do not knowingly allow users under 13. If you have reason to believe a child has used seek.ninja, send us the session identifier or time-stamp so we can delete any related logs.
If you’re in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction that gives you
data-subject rights, you may ask us to erase the tiny amount of data we hold
about your recent searches. Because we have no personal identifiers, you must
provide the install-id
or exact time-stamp that appeared in the request
headers. We will respond within 21 days.
Major changes will be posted here at least seven (7) days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
